Intraday Conviction Grades: Read the Definition Before the Label
A grade is a classification unless its meaning and validation are established.
Definition and time
Ask which information assigns the grade, when it is set and whether it changes. Preserve the first published label with the instruction. A later adjustment cannot silently replace the original population.
Within-model scope
A label can mean different things across products or horizons. Do not treat the same letter as a universal probability or account risk rule. The relevant model and calibration period need their own source.
Complete population
Compare all observations in a defined band, including cancelled and unresolved instructions. Selected examples cannot establish a calibrated success probability.
Account boundary
A grade does not choose size, guarantee an exit or fix an expired entry. Keep timing, price and account constraints separate. Unknown validation should remain unknown rather than becoming invented odds.
Apply the Criterion
Write the exact missing artifact and whether the claim is documented, attributed, hypothetical or unresolved. A completed field is not a certification, and the criterion does not assign a star score.
